It is becoming almost an annual event - spotting the steam tractors that pass through Cocking as summer visitors. Last year you may remember that a 1913 Burrell Gold Medal Tractor stopped at Milestone Garage.
This year 'Victoria, Empress of India', an 1886 Marshall Traction Engine, passed through in a stately manner on her (are tractors hers?) way back to Petersfield.
For those who need the full details, the 'Empress' is a owned by Sewards of Petrsfield and we believe there was a 54 inch threshing machine in the van. |
