Speed TrapThe Sussex Police set up a speed trap on the corner of the A286 opposite the Post Office this weekend. Before long they were flagging down motorists caught breaking the 30 m.p.h limit that applies through the village.

It will be no surprise to local residents that these drivers had driven past the speed sensitive warning sign and were still over the limit.

One of the first cars stopped was a powerful red Ferrari, but this was swiftly followed by an old red Volvo estate. No pattern there except perhaps the colour, but it was good to see some positive action from the Police.
